In 2002, David Scott was elected to the United States Congress. He is currently in his tenth term representing Georgia's Thirteenth Congressional District, which includes 6 counties around metro Atlanta: Cobb, Clayton, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton and Henry. He began his public service by being elected to the Georgia General Assembly in 1974.

In Congress, David Scott is a strong voice for farmers, jobs, healthcare, education, our veterans, our children, and transportation. He serves on the Financial Services Committee, Agriculture Committee, and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
As Chairman of the Agriculture Committee, Congressman Scott recognizes the vital role agriculture plays in the success of our country and in Georgia, and he fights everyday to protect the interests of farmers, ranchers, and food processors. He also works to ensure that America’s agriculture sector continues to grow and remains globally competitive. He co-authored a law to reform the federal dairy program, which will keep prices affordable to consumers. He also supports land grant universities, such as the University of Georgia and Fort Valley State University, recognizing the significance they play in fostering research and education, and improving the agricultural economy.
Dorothy Jean Tillman, II, affectionately known as "DJ," is an award-winning child prodigy, tech and arts enthusiast, and community leader. DorothyJean founded Dorothy Jeanius STEAM Labs in 2020. She publishes STEAM children's books, and speaks on topics aimed at inspiring youth to take steps to save the planet.Dorothy Jean’s friends and family call her "Dorothy Jeanius," and her motto is "Leading by Examples of Excellence." She enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with friends and family. At the age of 10, she enrolled as a college freshman at the College of Lake County, majoring in psychology, where she completed her Associate's Degree in August of 2016. Following this milestone achievement, DJ went on an accelerated path of academics and enrolled in classes at Stanford University Continuing Studies, Brigham Young University Distance Learning and ultimately completed her Bachelor of Science in Humanities at Excelsior College in the summer of 2018. In the spring of 2020 Dorothy Jean reached another milestone by completing her Master of Science from Unity College in Unity, Maine, making her the youngest environmental and sustainable scientist in the country. She is an alumnus of the Golden Eagle Aviation Legacy Flight Academy based in Tuskeegee, Ala., at Moten Field, home of the Tuskeegee Airmen. DJ was recently selected to participate in Chicago's Future Founders program, created by Brad Keywell, CEO of Groupon.
Gary W. Black serves as the 16th Commissioner of Agriculture in Georgia's history. Currently in his third term, Commissioner Black has served in various leadership positions during his 40-year career in Georgia agriculture extending from the Georgia Farm Bureau to the Georgia Agribusiness Council. Black is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, and a past president of the college's alumni society. He currently serves on advisory committees for the United States Department of Agriculture, Environmental Protection Agency and the Export Import Bank of the United States. Under his leadership, Georgia Department of Agriculture divisions for information technology, animal health, homeland security and food safety have garnered national acclaim.
Garry A. Harris is the President of Sustainability Solutions Group (SSG), a consulting firm that provides diverse sustainability, energy engineering, community development, and energy generation technical services. Mr. Harris has more than three decades of experience in the fields of energy (including energy efficiency and renewable energy) and power generation, environmental conservation, community development and sustainability. He has performed extensive project management, design, construction, quality assurance, field engineering, operations, training, research, licensing and regulatory activities on many energy generation projects globally.
